About the Job
Description
- Work with customers to select, specify and qualify products to customer and industry specifications within industrial, commercial, university research, construction, manufacturing, gas exploration, biotech, power, and chemical/petrochemical industries.
- Write, edit, and review/approve documentation to support design changes with the ability to work from general instructions, shop or CAD drawings, fluid system schematics, P&IDs, blueprints, or diagrams.
- Interface with sales team, to provide technical support as needed, including quotes and orders. Will involve customer site activities within company territory.
- Actively engage with continuous improvement education/training and professional/personal development in alignment with company programs.
- Use technology to streamline and improve work processes.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or related engineering discipline is required.
- 2+ years experience in fabricating, assembly, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Extensive SolidWorks experience
- Skilled in interpreting and understanding customer applications in order to develop P&ID and fluid schematics.
- Ability to learn the features and benefits of multiple product families and related manufacturing processes.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, work in a dynamic team environment, and use a variety of systems and quality processes to manage complex and changing requirements.
- Proficiency with MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
