The Digital Pathology Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts and meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars. This position will be part of the Digital Pathology Sales and will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be a part of the Digital Pathology Regional Sales - West and will effectively lead the growth of the Digital Pathology business for the respective region. The Digital Pathology Regional Sales Manager will execute the strategies to drive growth and goals through self and the management of Digital Pathology Sales Specialists and Solution Architects through clear tactics, KPI's and market knowledge. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Achieve and exceed region's quarterly and annual sales quota, strategic and unit sales mix objectives, profit goal and market share goals. + Provide the direction, leadership, coaching and mentoring for direct sales and solution architects representatives. Advance the professional development, professional conduct, sales effectiveness, and efficiency of associates. + Recruit, develop, and train sales associates with clearly communicated sales and overall performance standards. + Forecast monthly revenue projections utilizing the company CRM (Salesforce.com). + Drive standard work to funnel management process in CRM (Salesforce.com) and DPIP (Digital Pathology Implementation plan) process. + Develop, solidify and maintain high-level relationships within key accounts (including NA Top 10) in assigned geography; these relationships should include Senior Hospital Management (C-Suite), Laboratory Administration, Department of Pathology, Purchasing and/or Materials Management, Contracts Administration and other key departments and/or personnel + Work collaterally with each Sales Vertical, Applications team, and Business Unit to deploy solutions that capitalize on the Leica Biosystems' value proposition to implement a workflow strategy that improves competitive selling (WIN) and further develops the current install base (Expand). The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelors degree + Minimum 5 years relevant capital sales experience. + Prior people management experience + Contract negotiation/high level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment + Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Digital imaging sales experience to Pathologists and Laboratory Directors + Medical Diagnostics healthcare sales experience Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + 50% - 75% + Must Possess a valid Driver's license. + Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings At Leica Biosystems we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce. The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for Sales incentive plan.
