Parman Energy is seeking a new Sales Manager to join our team in Olive Branch! The Sales Manager is responsible for managing and executing the fuel, lubricant, DEF, and equipment budgetary and strategic planning of the Sales Department. This role is fully in office, splitting time between our Olive Branch, MS and Blytheville, AR locations. This role covers North Mississippi, East Arkansas, and West Tennessee regions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintains effective Sales staff by participating in the recruiting, hiring, and training new members of the sales staff and assisting in ongoing technical training.
- Assists sales representatives in developing viable prospect lists and opportunity pipeline, creative marketing strategies, and sales proposals.
- Maintains existing business by offering technical expertise where necessary/beneficial, guiding sales staff in tactical daily routine, efficient scheduling and problem solving, as well as acting as a backup to inside sales representatives if absent.
- Conducts weekly meetings with department personnel to review budgetary numbers versus goals to date, pipeline configurations, prospects and weekly schedules.
- Assists in making annual departmental budgetary projections, including expenses and gallon and profit targets for individual Inside Sales Representatives and for the department as a whole.
- Reviews department's equipment in the field as well as Tankeyes. Goes into field for loaned equipment agreement signatures, as well as Tankeye/Equipment repairs and installs as needed.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company's handbook and training manuals as well as company policies, procedures, and guidelines that are added and/or revised as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; or at least three years Sales experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents. Ability to write reports and general business correspondence as well as effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and customers.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, terminating, training and coaching employees.
