AWS WW Specialist team is seeking a Specialized Sales Operations Lead to work with the Worldwide AIML Business Development, Go To Market and Specialized Sales teams, to drive growth through business performance insights, solid business operations cadence and partnership with our Leadership.
Role:
- Act as a trusted advisor to Specialized Sales leaders, leveraging data and analyses to land business insights, develop GTM strategies, and scale the business
- Drive incubation and growth for some of the newest and most innovate offerings in the AWS portfolio. Including driving improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to their customers
- Manage the administration and execution of the team's targets, including segmentation of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, evolving and driving various demand generation campaigns and proposing improvements to the business to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results
- Manage the rhythm of the business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics
- Work directly with the models/data. Work with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them
- Develop routine and ad-hoc analytic reports to management regarding initiatives, etc. Ensure reports contribute to business insight and decision-making
- Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution.
- Advocate for their customers to other internal stakeholders. Active collaboration with leadership in AWS Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, and Compensation will be crucial to the effective execution of the responsibilities
- Drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems - Project-manage multiple workflows and communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbal, in a clear and easy-to-understand way - Annual and long-range planning support, including Operating Plan (OP1, OP2), Operating Strategy, and more. Work cross functionally to support and execute these priorities in support of the AIML business.
- Support the Annual Planning process by completing deliverables for coverage, territory, quota and individual goal submission
Key job responsibilities
- Own the business reviews and deep dives to effectively inspect the business across the various functions within Business Operations, including both Go to Market and Technical internal customers.
- Develop Go to Market (GTM) pipeline and forecast models, create measurement and tracking mechanisms to continually improve accuracy and deliver actionable insights to both deliver for our customers and influence GTM planning.
- Drive the continuous improvement of key processes and mechanisms used in the Sales and Business & Operations team, improving productivity and efficiency.
- Lead special projects impacting Business Operations functional areas across the World Wide Specialist Organization, and AWS, as a whole.

This highly visible role will work closely with the business leaders and cross functionally with other leaders of operations teams to provide strategic business insights and support business growth and operational excellence. You will design, implement, and continuously improve processes and prioritize critical business initiatives, while meeting requirements from different stakeholders. The ability to comprehend both quantitative and qualitative data points, connect the dots, apply high judgement, and create executive-level content is critical for success in this role.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
