Motiv Power Systems is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join us in transforming the medium-duty truck sector. This position is a crucial component of our team that is responsible for managing our revenue operations and collaborates with remote sales representatives and other stakeholders to support our rapid growth. The individual in this role is expected to drive effective sales strategies, is action oriented to deliver results, and work seamlessly across departments. This is a critical role that will require strong leadership and communications skills with a focus on improving sales productivity.

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is Remote and can also be worked out of Foster City, CA or Novi, MI offices.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve clear sales targets aligned with company goals.
- Lead the scheduling and facilitation of internal and external meetings and actively engaged with required data to support robust Strategic Account Review (SAR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings, systems and processes.
- Develop and implement a sales KPI dashboard to monitor and analyze sales performance on a timely basis. Use the KPIs to identify areas of improvement and develop mitigating actions
- Develop and manage key processes, standardized forms/documents and systems to provide full transparency and project management of the entire quote/proposal-to order/build/rev recognition/AR/delivery/collections ecosystem, including special needs for multi-party processes that may include dealers, sales partners, body-builders and other third parties.
- Balance strategic and data thinking with a strong 'next step' action orientation and drive to push through obstacles to deliver tactical results
- Serve as a primary liaison between sales leadership/staff, executive leadership, and other functions/departments to strengthen internal communication channels to ensure strong relationships and full transparency with key stakeholders.
- Sales and Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis, in coordination with marketing, using internal and external data sources, to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and identify and evaluate potential new business opportunities. Use this information for pipeline tracking and sales order tracking and management to drive sales results.
- Deliver actionable, accurate, and timely data, information, and actions for stakeholders to ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Assist as needed with strategic deal-making activities to secure profitable partnerships and agreements that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with partners including internal partners, potential clients, body builders, sales partners, dealers and industry influencers. Ensure collaboration and alignment.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and modeling to assess the viability and profitability of potential business opportunities. Present findings and recommendations to the executive team. Establish key performance indicators to build a culture that delivers success.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to sales and CRM systems, including leading the selection and medium-term transition to more capable and robust sales management/CRM systems that will be capable of integrating with related future systems selected in other areas such as production, finance, payments and collections, accounting, etc.

Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Inside Sales.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's preferred (MBA ideal).
- Experience in high level planning (including portfolio management, verticals, Sales Goal setting, forecasting, and reporting).
- Experience with budgeting and resource allocation.
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong negotiating, influencing, and networking skills with the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, able to evaluate and assess the financial viability of business opportunities. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Confluence, Collaboration Tools, Google Suite.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills and able to effectively articulate complex concepts to both internal and external partners.
- Ability to travel domestically as required.
- Basic understanding of electric vehicles, with a passion for sustainable technologies.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.
- May be required to lift to 35 pounds.
Salary Range:
- $133,700.00-167,800.00 (Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.)
