Fundamental Mission:
The Sales & Project Coordinator supporting New Energies establishes the scope changes throughout the project period, consulting team leaders and clients to agree upon various project markers. Manage the complete sales and customer service cycle of the Company from quote development to confirmation of accounts receivable collection. Align with the New Energies Team and other internal stakeholders, for generating revenue and profits for Vallourec. Meet and interact with both internal clients and external customers/end users to execute the Vallourec® New Energies sales strategy, build value-based relationships, and provide strategic expertise to goal-setting standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Responsible for overseeing multiple product lines which include CCUS, Geothermal (including VIT), Hydrogen, Biomass, Solar, and Wind of the New Energies market.
- Network across One Vallourec entities both domestic and international to ensure execution of delivery lifecycle
- Establish consistent business processes by coordinating with key stakeholders from multiple regions and business units.
- Preparation of RFQ’s, Tenders, Bid Procedures, and Instructions to bidders.
- Insures proper processing of inquiries, quotes, and order requirements.
- Prepares quotes on inquiries and bids in a timely manner and evaluates pricing to optimize securing of an order at a desirable Company profit.
- Maintains quote, order and backlog files and records. Including CORUM as required.
- When required support and provide accurate and thorough order entry and assures proper contract review has occurred for each order.
- Preparation of Mill order via SAP.
- Coordinates demand planning with relevant domestic and international Vallourec groups
- Evaluates order entry systems for accuracy and suitability assists in scheduling of orders by prioritizing customer delivery requirements.
- Coordinates with mills, distribution, and suppliers on delivery of material and/or services, when needed, for active orders.
- Administer a regular cadence with accounts receivable to ensure a timely cash collection.
- Follow up of production and shipment schedules, documentation and logistics coordination with sub suppliers and internal customers.
- Respond to questions from vendors, sub-contractors, and Vallourec USA Corp. personnel, as required.
- Develops good relations with distribution to assist them in promoting our products and/or services.
- Interact with procurement, project management, business development personnel that can influence the purchase of our Products.
- Serves as coordinator between New Energies and Manufacturing to help meet the needs of the customer.
- Travel as needed to support customer relations and service in respective marketplace
- Provides after hour assistance, as required, in support of customer service.
- Participate in Vallourec employee training programs as required.
- Fully and actively participate in the corporate HS&E policies to promote a safe work environment for all employees.
- Completes any other duties as assigned by Senior Director, New Business Development Vallourec® New Energies including but not limited to OCTG sales project management.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office Suite
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Experience in manufacturing and usage of OCTG or related products
- Experience in sales, negotiations, and customer service
- Preferred Experience in oil and gas industry
Mobility:
- The position may require up to 10% travel.
- Position located in Houston.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Understanding of Petroleum Exploration and/or Development and New Energies Market
- Advanced understanding of technical terminology related to company products & services
- Ability to present to products and services to wide range of people with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Ability to sell products technically
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Computer Skills:
