The Rental and Sales Analyst is responsible for rental and sales department analysis in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.” This position includes data analysis, data entry, report generation, program application, improvement recommendations, and occasional presentation of statuses or findings to groups of managers
The Rental & Sales Analyst aids in development and implementation of Sales & Rental management and optimization strategies designed to increase department Return on Investment (ROI).
Pay Rate: $56,093.62 - $77,131.97 Annually
Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience
Essential Functions:

Manage and update rental rates, including customer specific rates
Complete the rental commission monthly report
Complete the rental scorecard monthly report
Input the monthly lost sales uploads to Cat
Create the margin contribution report
Update and manage rental category groups
Manage the machine, attachment, and merchandising inventory count processes
Create, maintain, and distribute all informer-based reports
Key developer of all rental and sales reporting
Manage National Rental accounts in iRental
Generate ad-hoc reports as needed by management
Assist Regional Management, Rental Management and the Used Equipment Manager as needed
Present findings or recommendations to Regional Management or Executive Leadership
Work with Wagner Rental General Manager and Regional Managers to complete Caterpillar’s Rental Excellence programs annualy
Work with Branch and Regional Management to implement changes to maximize ROI
Works with other departments in relation to reporting or accounting needs
Other duties as assigned by manager
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
2+ years’ experience analyzing data
2+ years administrative/clerical experience
Physical Demands & Competencies:
Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
Safety & Product Knowledge
Heavy Equipment Knowledge and Experience
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of data analytics tools such as Informer, Tableau, Power BI, and Cognos
Travel Requirements:
1- 25%
