Our beginnings go back to the commercial janitorial industry, where we began building our reputation with local customers around town. Since then, DLP now provides several services such as Facility Maintenance, Rental Services, Staffing Services, and General Construction. DLP Services is fast-growing with offices now located in Del Rio, San Antonio, Eagle Pass, Weslaco, and El Paso. We have been blessed with the opportunity to diversify a large number of customers in different industries such as government (Federal, State, County, and Local), Automotive Dealerships, Schools, Banks, Medical, and standard commercial buildings while maintaining the understanding of different needs and high-quality services.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sales Representative will develop and identify potential customers, explain services, and establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others. Your primary mission is to secure new business from both existing clients and exciting new prospects. With exceptional communication and negotiation skills, you'll prospect potential clients and skillfully navigate the contract acquisition process.

JOB SUMMARY:
- Promoting the services divisions.
- Explain service information to customers.
- Conduct business-to-business sales prospecting and cold calling.
- Create work orders on potential sales and complete the proposal process.
- Contact current or potential customers to promote products or services.
- Contact current or potential customers to build a referral pipeline.
- Answer customer questions about our services.
- Distribute promotional material to customers.
- Identify prospective customers, using business directories, leads from existing clients, participation in organizations, trade shows, or conference attendance.
- Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs.
- Attend networking events to develop professional knowledge.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.
- Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.
- Prioritize, organize, and accomplish the assigned tasks on time.
- Performs other duties as requested.Â

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives direct supervision from the Operations Manager and reports to the Director of Business Development. The position has no formally assigned supervisory responsibility and authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The principal duties of this position are to perform in an indoor and outdoor environment.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Services has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have 2+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Must pass a background check.
