Sales Summer Intern - BrandStar

THE POSITION

The Sales Intern provides general support to and gains hands-on experience in the sales initiatives of the organization.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Work with the sales manager or a senior member of the sales team to learn about the full sales cycle process.
• Update opportunity and sales records timely and accurately.
• Perform introductory sales calls and escalates opportunities to senior members of the sales team to close opportunities.
• Conduct sales and marketing research as assigned.
• Shadow members of the Project Management team to gain a full understanding of the products and services offered.
• May communicate with vendors upon management's request.
• Compile individual and team sales reports as directed.

• Current student enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree program.
• Prior sales or telephone cold-calling experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work and Outlook).
