Responsibilities:
- Provides detailed, high-level support to Regional Sales
Representatives and Regional Manager
- Acts as a liaison between Sales Team, Customers, and Internal
Departments
- Account Maintenance - ADF Completion for new accounts, new product
item numbers, specification changes, price changes, new customer
credit applications, and credit reference requests.
- Responsible for SOX compliance within respective territory. Provides
data and responses for external and internal price audits.
- Management of Complaint process. Enter all complaints into
Salesforce; follow-up to ensure timely completion of the
investigation and creating a formalized response to customer
complaints.
- Management and administration of all Index and Market price
adjustments within the region including system updates and
correspondence to customers including maintenance of customer's
mailing lists.
- Responds to customer requests; spec sheets, marketing materials, and
certifications as well as Surveys and RFI's
- Investigates customer short pays within the region. Make corrections
to the system as to not to pro-long, short pays, and issue credits
when approved.
- Assists territory reps with RFQ preparation
- Assists with Drop Trailer initiatives within the region and
processes drop trailer agreements.
- Attends and participates in Team Meetings.
- Various other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, marketing, or customer
service
- Detailed-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multi-task in a highly diversified work environment
- Strong customer service advocacy and problem-solving skills
- QAD or Solomon experience preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite - basic to above-average computer skills
including Excel
- CRM experience preferred - Salesforce (CRM) plus
Sense of urgency
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Ability to work with a multitude of personalities
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Detail-orientatedOccasional travel may be necessary
