POSITION SUMMARY
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative and operational support to our sales team ensuring smooth sales processes. Your organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and customer-centric approach will be essential in maintaining excellent customer relationships and optimizing the sales process.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the sales team in managing and coordinating sales activities, including order processing, contract management, and lead follow-ups.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships.
- Prepare sales quotes, proposals, and presentations in collaboration with the sales team.
- Monitor and track sales data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of sales records and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, finance, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and deliveries.
- Support the sales team in preparing and conducting sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Manage and update the customer database with relevant information, such as contact details, interactions, and purchase history.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify sales opportunities and market trends.
- Assist in sales forecasting and planning activities to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing travel arrangements.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns, escalating issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, product knowledge, and sales techniques to enhance performance and contribute to the team's success.
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and expand the customer base.
- Participate in sales training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in sales support functions.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to prepare and execute promotional activities, events, and campaigns.
- Maintain sample stock and literature area.
- Coordinate and manage incoming/ outgoing sample shipments.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Proven experience as a Sales Support Specialist or in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and sales documentation.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of sales processes and terminology is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to travel to various locatios.
- Clean driving record and proof of insurance.
