WHAT'S THE SCOPE FOR THIS SALON EDUCATION MANAGER POSITION?
Our instructors receive competitive hourly pay ranging from $25 - $28, along with excellent benefits such as:
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid training
- 5 paid sick days
- 6 paid holidays
This teaching position also has 2 schedules to choose from:
- Tuesday - Saturday: Starting at 8:30 am with Sunday and Mondays off
OR
- Monday - Friday: 1:30 pm to 10 pm, with weekends and mornings off
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
- 7+ years of cosmetology license
- 3+ years of salon experience
- Experience in a salon school environment
- Salon license
- Strong technical abilities
- Ability to give thorough presentations
- Excellent time management skills, strong coaching ability, flexibility, and great problem-solving skills
- Experience in the Paul Mitchell industry (preferred)
DAY TO DAY AS A SALON EDUCATION MANAGER
As the Salon Education Manager of our beauty school, you start the day off early and energized, ready to lead your team to success. Your day kicks off with providing guidance to each team member, making sure everyone is aligned and prepared for the day ahead. Throughout the day, you keep a close eye on the sales team, address any classroom issues, and make sure that education files and grading are all up to date. You also support the learning leaders, facilitate meetings, and oversee various training activities. In role as an instructor, you're fully involved in the school community, working closely with your team and clients to ensure a productive and successful day.
