POSITION SUMMARY
The Sample Associate is responsible for arranging various tiles onto display boards and performing a wide range of tasks to support operations. Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of sample creation, from assembling tiles to preparing marketing boards for use in showrooms. The role also involves maintaining accurate inventory records, ordering necessary materials, and ensuring timely shipping. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality work with maximum efficiency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Tile Marketing Board Creation: Assemble and arrange tiles onto display boards, ensuring that they meet the aesthetic and quality standards required for showrooms.
- Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels of tiles and related materials, ensuring that supplies are always available for production needs.
- Material Ordering: Place orders for tiles, adhesive, backing boards, and other necessary materials to ensure uninterrupted operations in the sample department.
- Database Management: Enter and update data related to inventory, orders, and sample production in the company’s database system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Shipping Coordination: Prepare and package finished marketing boards for shipment, ensuring that products are securely packed and shipped according to schedule.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the sample department.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- One Year of Customer Service experience is preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
