Title: Sanitation Worker / Housekeeper
Location: Commerce City, CO
Duration: 0-3+ Months (Temp to Hire)
Shift: 1st Shift (M-F, 6 AM - 2 PM or 2 PM - 10 PM)
Pay Rate: $20.00-$25.00/Hour on W2.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitation of bakery processing equipment, which includes disassembly, scrubbing, washing, and reassembly to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Perform various janitorial duties, including vacuuming, brushing, scraping, and washing floors, walls, racks, and equipment within the facility.
Carry out environmental and post-sanitation protein testing to maintain food safety compliance, including filling out detailed paperwork to document results.
Maintain accurate and detailed records related to cleaning tasks, sanitation procedures, and testing results as per company guidelines.
Always adhere to all safety rules and procedures, ensuring personal safety and the safety of colleagues while working in a potentially hazardous environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Flexibility regarding work hours with occasional shifts.
Work primarily in a bakery plant atmosphere.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Capacity to perform physical labor and stand on feet for extended periods on both dry and wet surfaces.
