Job Title: Saw Operator
Job Description
Read mechanical blueprints to determine appropriate saw settings and operate saw to get parts to correct length for finished products. Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine precise cuts. Adjust machine settings, including speed, angle, and pressure, to achieve accurate bends and cuts. Load materials into the machine and align them properly to ensure precise shaping. Monitor the production process, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Perform routine maintenance on the machine. Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and schedule work orders. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions and production issues. Keep accurate records of production data and work performed. Adhere to quality control standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
