Scaffold Sales Representative - Performance Contracting Group

PCI is seeking an experienced Scaffold Sales/Estimator for its Houston operations based in Pasadena, Texas. This individual will be responsible for generating business leads, ensuring projects are estimated timely, and closing on profitable deals. Other responsibilities include: 

• Performing quantitative takeoffs on construction projects
• Establish labor productivities for estimate
• Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing.
• Understand the market conditions including competitive approach, backlog, level or risk for work and other factors for establishing margin percentages.
• Be involved in the internal bid reviews with supervisors and project team.
• Participate in the customer alignment objectives of the branch by creating and maintaining positive customer relations.
• Contract administration for secured projects.
• Assist in the hand-off of secured projects to the Operations Team.
• Assist in other duties as assigned such as change order management or billings depending on the project(s).

Job Requirements

Basic Requirements

• At least 5 years professional work experience with planning and estimating scaffolding projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction, Engineering, or another industry-related field preferred.

Minimum Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
• Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work
• Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with erection and dismantle of scaffold is preferred
• Experience with estimating scaffolding.
• Local to the Houston metro area is preferred
