CHS, Inc has an opportunity to join our grain team in Steward, IL as a Scale Assistant! No experience needed - daily you will oversee operations of the scale, assist in elevator functions, and perform general office duties for our employees and customers. Responsibilities
- Weigh and grade grain in all inbound and outbound trucks using computer and manual tools for measurement.
- Provide a high level of customer service by addressing customers in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
- Answer telephone promptly and direct calls as needed.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Assist other personnel as needed.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Knowledge of Operations and/or Business Operations
Additional Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
