Olsten Staffing is helping Schneider Electric fill Assembly Positions. As an Assembly Associate, you will assemble the framing/walls of switch gear units. Associates will spend the majority of their time standing and bending to install the framing to the blueprint specifications of the customer orders.
Job Details for Assembly Associate:
Pay Details: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour

Olsten Staffing is helping Schneider Electric fill Assembly Positions. As an Assembly Associate, you will assemble the framing/walls of switch gear units. Associates will spend the majority of their time standing and bending to install the framing to the blueprint specifications of the customer orders.
Job Details for Assembly Associate:
- Pay $16 - $20 (depending on shift and department)
- Shift availability vary. Available shifts will be discussed over the phone. Possible shifts are: 1st (Mon-Thu, 5 AM-3:30 PM), 2nd (Mon- Thu, 3:15 PM-1:45 AM), and Weekend Shift ( Fri-Sun 5am to 5:30pm)
- Contract- to- hire Employment
- Assemble framing of breaker units
- Must be able to follow assembly blueprints
- Able to work under stress of deadlines and constant changes to design of assemblies.
- Must be able to safely operate drill press, band saw, grinders, cutters, and any other required tool needed to perform non-standard installations.
- Will be expected to perform any task assigned.
- Must be willing to work overtime on short notice to expedite customer needs.
- Must have positive internal and external customer service attitude.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of Standard Assembly. Previous experience in Switchboards Standard Connectors preferred.
- Candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, and possess a good work record. Position requires lifting and holding in place assembly parts weighting up to 35 lbs. repeatedly over work period.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blue prints, material lists, and other source material.
- Position requires periodic overtime on a short notice to meet customer service.
- Candidate must be highly motivated and self-directed with ability to work in a team environment.
- Must possess a good work record.
- Warehouse positions require forklift experience.
