Scrub Technician - Operating Room (OR) at DHA - Valley Regional Hospital

At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for an experienced Surgical Scrub Tech to join our team.

In this role, you would assist surgeons during surgical procedures by anticipating their needs to make sure the procedure is executed as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

The Scrub Technician is responsible for preparing and organizing the operating room, as well as learning central sterile duties to include cleaning and sterilizing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment.

This role would work Mon Fri day shifts, some call required.

An ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Certification as a surgical technologist, or similar experience in practical nursing or an operating room Nursing Scrub Tech or Paramedic experience required.- Will Train the right Candidate
• Exhibits professionalism at all times, understands appropriate workplace behavior/communications.
• Confidentiality is a must
