At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we’re in. We're growing our team here in Downtown, Missouri!

Compensation: $22 / hour ($17.02 per hour + $4.98 / hour stipend)
Shift : We have three shifts available, and we will discuss the specific schedule in an in person interview


About the job:

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
• You will utilize de-escalation tactics and/or physical restraint as necessary.
• Safely escort visitors around the facility
• Help transport and escort prisoners between cells or facilities
• Not an entry-level position.

Your background:

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• You have at least 1 year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement/Corrections experience.
• You have a state license if required.
• You are confident and strong-willed, not averse to a dangerous situation.
• You have a proven track record of remaining calm in an emergency situation
• You have strong communication skills
• You can take and give orders effectively
