WE LOVE OUR WORK.:- Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Security and Housekeeping departments. Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
- Creates effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
- Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to the Director of Operations.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
- Ensures response to medical emergencies and complete Illness/Injury reports when necessary.
- Promptly reports and remedies any legal/compliance measures.
- Develops, enforces, reviews and approves changes or revisions to operating practices, procedures and standards based on business practices and internal controls.
- Identifies and resolves security related problems.
- Develops and implements alternative methods for security and housekeeping operations improvement.
- Examines and analyzes the physical property, processes and procedures and develop, institute, oversee and enforce emergency policies.
- Serves as liaison with gaming regulators, public law enforcement, fire and other agencies as it relates to security by maintaining a positive and constructive relationship.
- Conducts, supervises and prepares reports relating to investigations of any losses or violations of law, regulations, policies or procedures.
- Provides escorts as needed.
- Testifies in court when necessary.
- Protects and preserves the assets of the company.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.S.); or four years of casino Security, military, or police experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of security protocol.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has supervisory responsibilities.
- Responsible for staff development and training programs.
- Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
- Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to team members in regards to performance.
- Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.
- Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.
- Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).
