About the Job
Prior experience in casino security, law enforcement, military or civilian security services preferred.
Must be able to perform assigned tasks under limited supervision
CLEET Certification l & ll training desired or willing to obtain.
Security CLEET License minimum of Phases l & ll desired or willing and able to obtain within 90-days of hire.
Must be able to meet and obtain all training requirements and certifications such as, CPR/First Aid/ AED, Defensive Tactics Techniques and all other training the security department requires.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
1. High School diploma or GED required.
2.The ability to read and write English proficiently and understand both written and verbal instructions.
3. One to two years’ work experience in dealing in person, on the telephone, and directly with customers is preferable.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies. Ability to effectively present information to employees, managers and top management.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram from and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and work with mathematical concepts. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to interpret data from graphs.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Basic analytical and deductive reasoning ability. Must have remarkable interpersonal relations skills. Ability to see problems and avoid situations that could be deemed illegal or represent a safety hazard to fellow team members or customers. Must be able to listen to and assist team members and/or guests in finding solutions to problems or concerns.
