Security Professional (Special Events) - Extrity Services

This is a contract position to join our Special Events team. 

Pay: $25/hr flat rate for all events.

Job Description:

As the Event Team Security Specialist (On-Call) at Extrity Services, you will be instrumental in providing top-tier security services at high-profile and public events. Your role is crucial for managing safety at concerts, weddings, celebrity gatherings, fairs, and other special events. This on-call position offers flexible work hours, with potential opportunities to transition into full-time employment based on performance and reliability.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Crowd Control: Effectively manage large crowds, ensuring safety and compliance with venue policies.
• ID and Bag Checks: Conduct thorough checks to ensure compliance with legal age requirements and safety standards.
• Event Coverage: Provide flexible and reliable security services, available to cover same-week events as needed.
• De-escalation: Proficiently handle potentially volatile situations with calmness and professionalism.
• Uniform Compliance: Specialists must own all-black slacks and shoes. A company-provided black polo is required for uniform.

What You'll Bring: 

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in crowd control and event security.
• Skills: Strong de-escalation techniques, excellent professional demeanor, and reliability.
• Flexibility: Must be available, particularly for weekend events, and demonstrate adaptability for different shifts.
• Team Player: Ability to work within a structured team for daytime and nighttime shifts.
