Kaiva Tech, LLC is seeking a Security SpecialistinWashington DC.
Clearance: Active Top-Secret Clearance
Workplace Type: Onsite with potential for hybrid/telework upon COR approval.
Position Overview:
- The Security Specialists initiate and conducts non-criminal personnel security background investigations in accordance with public laws and executive orders 10450, 12968, and Public Law 108-458, as well as the Federal Investigative Standards set forth by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant technical personnel security experience.
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience initiating and conducting non-criminal personnel security background investigations in accordance with public laws and executive orders 10450, 12968, and Public Law 108-458, as well as the Federal Investigative Standards set forth by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
- Extensive knowledge and experience in obtaining investigative information through databases such eQIP, CVS, JPAS, DCII, Selective Service, FBI, INS, and other government records checks.
- Proficiency in initiating both applicants and employees in the eQIP system.
- Experience in evaluating eQIP and related forms in order to grant or deny interim security clearances or Facility Access.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
