Position: Electronic Security Technician 2 & 3

Location: Richmond, VA

Salary: $25-$33 per hour (Dependent on certifications and experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an Electronic Security Technician to join our team and provide installation and service for CCTV and Access Control systems in the Richmond, VA area. This role involves installing, servicing, troubleshooting, replacing, setting up, programming, and operating full CCTV and Access Control systems for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Installation and Service: Install and service CCTV and Access Control systems according to company and client specifications.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues or malfunctions with CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Upgrades: Replace or upgrade defective or outdated components or equipment.
• Setup and Programming: Set up, program, and operate systems according to client needs.
• Client Training: Provide training and support to clients on system use and maintenance.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of installation and service work, including materials and equipment used.
• Safety Protocols: Follow all safety and security protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least one year of experience in installing or servicing CCTV and/or Access Control systems.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of installation, service, troubleshooting, replacement, setup, programming, and operation of CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Independence: Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Pressure Handling: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Travel: Willingness to travel within the Richmond, VA area and occasionally beyond.
• Learning: Willingness to learn new skills and technologies as required.
