We are looking for a Segment Leader for our Cybersecurity Solutions Segment, one of the fastest growing segments in our firm. The Segment Leader is responsible for development and profitable growth of the Segment by “owning” the research of marketplace needs, development of new and innovative service offerings, and attracting the best available talent to the Segment to fuel sustainable growth. Finally, the Segment Leader actively works to elevate the PBMares brand by demonstrating thought leadership and developing meaningful relationships with other regional and national thought leaders within the Segment. This is a highly visible role. This position can reside in any of our ten offices locations across Virginia and Maryland.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop the Segment’s strategic direction consisting of a comprehensive growth plan to include targeting strategy/execution, product development strategy/execution, and market penetration
- Utilize market research to drive continuous improvements and directional enhancements for the Segment to include the ongoing identification of distribution channels, the creation and effective dissemination of thought leadership and the innovation of new service offerings
- Coordinate continuous growth and development planning with the Service Line Leaders to identify "hot spots", drive resources and measurable plans to capitalize on high growth opportunities, develop integrated and holistic services to the Firm's highest-value, strategic client relationships
- Grow and protect revenue, realization, and profitability in the Segment while managing an individual book of business
- Plan activities related to the development of audit programs and oversee the execution of internal audits and IT control assessments in the following areas: cybersecurity, SOC 1 and 2 audits, and outsourced internal audit
- Continually monitor and evaluate the Segment’s business plan to ensure growth metrics are achieved
Job Requirements
- A minimum of ten years of experience, ideally in a professional services firm
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to grow the business through existing and new clients
- Demonstrated ability to attract, engage and develop a team
- Experience with control frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, FFIEC, AICPS Trust Services Principles and CIS
- CISA, CISSP, or related certification is required, CPA license a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong business acumen including the ability to identify business opportunities, attract new business, and build lasting professional relationships with client executives
