Senior Account Manager - Expert Connections

Our client is a leading force in the automotive industry, specializing in the design and production of sensor, connectivity, and electrification solutions, with a focus on innovation and global sustainability.

Join their new and expanding team as Senior Account Manager! This position will be remote/ or hybrid near either Greenville, SC or Detroit, MI office.

The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience working with technically complex products, along with an automotive background.

Tasks:

·Acquire new customers and secure projects in international growth markets for automotive electrification.

·Manage assigned North American customers (US/Mexico/Canada) and maintain strong customer relationships.

·Contribute to the co-design, implementation, and enhancement of sales strategies.

·Lead contract negotiations and monitor customer satisfaction to ensure long-term success.

·Oversee all commercial aspects, including pricing, price changes, cost management, contract maintenance, and documentation.

·Prepare calculations and customer-specific proposals by collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as engineering and purchasing.

·Coordinate sales projects from initiation through order placement.

Requirements:

·Bachelor’s degree in engineering,economics, or business preferred, MBA is a plus.

·3+ years of experience in sales of technically complex products, HV high voltage/low voltage is a plus.

·5+ years of automotive/ mobility experience.

·Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, solution-oriented thinking, and excellent communication skills.

·Familiarity with project management tools, including Siemens Teamcenter or SAP, preferred.

·Occasional international travel.

·Proficiency in English.
