DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Compensation: $71,430 - $82,160/yr
(candidates with significant related experience may be higher) Royal is
seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. If you are

fit for you. The Senior Accountant will provide support to the
Accounting Manager and other Senior Leadership with accounting duties
and reporting and will be an informal leader to the Accounting team. As
a Senior Accountant you will: * Administer, review, and submit
governmental and internal reports, ensuring compliance with all
regulations and standards. Maintain documentation for accuracy and
timeliness, supporting audits with necessary documentation. * Ensure
the accuracy and transparency of financial statements, including the
preparation of footnotes. * Oversee the CECL framework for accurate
credit loss estimation and reporting, collaborating with the CECL
Working Group to refine models. * Manage multi-company consolidation
and merger/acquisition accounting, ensuring accurate transaction
recording and reporting. * Act as a subject matter expert for corporate
and departmental projects, implementing GAAP-compliant solutions. *
Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices to ensure
compliance. * Mentor accounting staff, promoting professional growth
and providing education to enhance team knowledge. * Balance complex
general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Post entries in
accordance with GAAP, including accruals and monitoring of derivatives
and other financial instruments. Work Schedule: This is a full-time,
exempt level position. Hours will generally be Monday through Friday,
8:00am 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend hours, as needed.
Training: Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team
members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau
Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first
week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs
related to travel and lodging. * Foundation Training covers fundamental
information about Royal's culture and core values which sets the stage
for team members to be successful within our organization. In addition,
this position is part of Royal's workplace flexibility program and can
be hybrid after training and being proficient in the position, which is
typically the first 6-9 months in the role. Candidates must be able to
commit to the first 6-9 months being in-person. Please Note: We reserve
the right to extend the training time in office as necessary. Team

Education/Experience/Skills: * Bachelor's degree in Business with an
emphasis in Accounting or Finance * Minimum of five (5) years of
progressive accounting experience or three (3) years financial services
related accounting experience. * Strong analytical and accounting
