Senior Accountant
$95,000/yr.-$100,000/yr
+ 7.5% Bonus
Job Summary - Vaco has partnered with a Medical Device Company and they have an opening for a Senior Accountant who will be heavily involved in fixed assets
Reporting to the Accounting Manager (small team), this person will also be responsible for lease accounting, general ledger processing, and oversee the month end close process for all related functions
The company is using SAP and will be transitioning to MS 365 next year
The company is offering work from home options, 3 weeks vacation, and unlimited sick time.
Duties - Fixed Assets
General ledger processing
Responsible for entire month end close
Lease accounting
Journal entry preparation
Prepare support for tax returns
Variance reports
Prepare daily cash forecasts
Rent accruals
Monthly cash reconciliations
Preparation of financial statements
Significant auditor interaction with PWC, banks and all state audits.
Automation of accounting processes such as bank reconciliation
Essentials -
B.S
in Accounting/Finance
5-7 years of experience in accounting
Fixed Assets experience is a must
Experience with lease accounting or CIP (Construction in progress)
Strong understanding of the monthly close
Understanding of the general ledger
Experience with SAP or similar ERP
Excellent communication skills
Schedule - 845am-515pm
Work schedule.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
