Salary - $95,000 - $110,000

**The Role**
- Report to the Director of Accounting Operations
- Demonstrate ownership and identify process improvement opportunities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP required
- Key tasks include reconciling account balances, maintaining the general ledger, month-end closing, and supporting quarterly reviews and audits
**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile general ledger activities
- Record transactions, reconcile accounts, and produce financial reports
- Conduct analytical reviews of assigned income statement accounts
- Provide accounting support to pharmacy locations
- Analyze accounting results, resolve discrepancies, and suggest efficiency improvements
- Review and recommend updates to accounting systems and procedures
- Manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Assist with external audits and quarterly reviews
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- MAcc or MBA preferred (not required)
- CPA or CPA track preferred
**Skills and Qualifications**
- 3 - 7 years of accounting experience with increasing responsibilities
- 2 years performing variance analysis
- Large company industry experience preferred
- Flexibility to adapt to new systems and a growing business
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
