Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with staff accountants in the monthly general ledger close, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, analysis of financial statements, and variance reviews.
• Prepare, review, and analyze account reconciliations monthly or quarterly, ensuring all documentation is compliant with reporting standards.
• Support consolidated financial reporting by reviewing foreign subsidiaries.
• Conduct monthly analysis of current results to support internal and external reporting, and assist in budgeting and account analysis.
• Engage with management, departmental leaders, external auditors, and consultants to support financial goals and ensure compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting, reconciliation, or finance.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles (FASB/GAAP), SOX compliance, and expert-level proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Documentation: Skilled in preparing detailed work papers and memos for a variety of technical accounting topics.
• Additional Skills: Team-building, leadership, and project management. Commitment to high standards of quality and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or MBA with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
• Background in public accounting or experience with financial reporting in a manufacturing environment.
