Senior Accountant

Our client is a stable manufacturer in the environmental robotics industry. They’re seeking a strong Sr. Accountant to join their team. It’s a great opportunity for someone to learn all areas of the company and grow professionally.

They offer a collaborative work environment and are in the office 5 days per week in Long Island City (Queens) with a flexible start time.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Work closely with the operations and production team members
• Assist the CFO with implementing internal controls and processes.
• Work with customers and distributors to help resolve their non-technical concerns
• Create invoices.
• Review credit card statements and assign the proper expense code description for each transaction.
• Collaborate with external accounting firm to ensure they have everything they need.
• Work closely with the CFO during the open enrollment period and add/delete employees if need be.
• Processing checks for A/P when necessary.
  • Once the checks are processed, obtain proper approvals.
• Order supplies for operations and production.
• Updating the weekly cash flow statement daily.
• Manage Reconciliations
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned

Experienced preferred of the Senior Accountant:

• 7+ years of experience in accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong attention to detail
• Supervisory experience a plus
• Salary up to $95K depending upon experience level
