Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Description
The Senior Accountant will execute account analysis at an elevated level with accuracy, demonstrating independent thinking and experience with root cause analysis/problem solving. The role involves managing and organizing projects to fruition with limited guidance, performing general accounting functions such as journal entries, GL account reconciliations, and month-end close tasks.
The candidate should be able to draw conclusions and articulate them to management, assist in quarter-end and year-end financial audit requests, and handle month-end accruals and P&L analysis.
Additionally, the Senior Accountant will assist with and/or analyze intercompany transactions/reconciliations and take on special ad hoc projects. The candidate must be a team player, possess intermediate Excel skills, and have experience working with large amounts of data. Good interpersonal skills are necessary to interface with multiple offices/departments with an inquisitive nature.
