Overview:
The Senior Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development and facilitation of a comprehensive continuous survey readiness program. The program will include integrating standards/regulations into Mercy's ongoing accreditation and regulatory compliance efforts and developing consistent processes as it relates to the standards.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, vision, values and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years experience in healthcare industry, including experience with accrediting and regulatory compliance (State, Federal and Joint Commission)
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in health-related field
- Preferred Education: Masters degree in health-related field
- Licensure: none
- Other: Demonstrated initiative in achieving strategic goals and objectives; strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Solid understanding of how to use data to analyze processes and measure outcomes. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
