About the Job
Location: On-Site in Bedford, MA
Purpose:
The Senior Administrative Assistant oversees Coding/ Coding Quality policies, procedures and other operational workflows to ensure a compliant and accurate coding product.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitates Coding Policy discussions for Coding management team at implementation of client and annual/ quarterly reviews/revisions
- Develops /prepares Coding Policy for coder production team and client version
- Initiates CRM workflow for coding policy additions and or deletions
- Maintains and updates LH – Master Client Coding grid, and Client Facility Grids
- Tracking of audit results /coder booklets
- Maintains and updates Coder education E/M manual
- Creation of coder quality reports /tableau dashboards
- Act as SharePoint Administrator for Coding Policies, Coder Audits, Education and Quality Policies and Procedures
- Prepare and share data for monthly client calls
- Special projects as assigned

Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.):
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Computer Skills:
Prior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software experience including proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word required.
Experience:
Prior experience and proficiency with MS Excel and medical background required. Coding experience and/or certification is a plus.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
- Ability to add, to subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, use hands, talk, hear and occasionally walk and reach with hands or arms
