Senior Analyst, Accounts Payable - XPO NAT Solutions LLC

As a Senior Analyst, Accounts Payable at RXO, you will manage all payments for North America and Mexico. Perform accounting activities such as ensuring multiple SOX controls are in place as well as quarterly SOX control evaluations for the Accounts Payable Team. Quarter End process reporting and support for payments as they relate to Cash Management.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Responsible for scheduling, running, tracking, and reporting on over 100 payment processes.
• Working Capital support, providing reporting on quarter end payments process
• Oversight of the offshore process that supports the resolution of payment rejections in the financial system.
• Resolution of electronic payment rejections from the bank
• Preparation and submission of any fraud claims to the bank.
• Provide testing support for projects as they relate to Oracle Financials
• Perform testing support for all TMS upgrades, monthly and / or quarterly.
• Apply a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and related guidance; verify documents for completeness and compliance with authoritative guidance.
• Evaluator for several financial controls for AP in compliance with company policy and Sarbanes-Oxley
• Continually look to reduce company costs and spend associated with Analyst-related responsibilities.
• Perform general ledger entries as a backup role.

What you’ll need to excel:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance or Accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and experience working in financial database applications.

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2-4 years’ experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a large, multi-component company and in preparing and auditing financial reports.
• System knowledge should include intermediate level spreadsheet skills, and working knowledge of word processing, email, and financial database applications.
