Position Overview
As part of their growth and ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of their community, Audiology Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Audiologist with extensive experience and expertise to join their team in Belmont, MA.
The Senior Audiologist will provide comprehensive audiological evaluations, perform specialized tests, and create treatment plans for patients while taking full responsibility for the complete patient journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate hearing function and determine the extent of hearing loss.
- Develop customized hearing care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, lifestyle, and preferences.
- Dispense and fit hearing aids, including both custom-fit and ready-to-wear models, ensuring optimal comfort and functionality.
- Provide ongoing support and counseling to patients on hearing aid use, maintenance, and adjustment.
- Specialize in the fitting and management of Lyric hearing aids, offering patients innovative solutions for discreet and hassle-free hearing.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote hearing health.
- Stay current with advancements in audiology and incorporate best practices into patient care.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist in Massachusetts.
- Prior experience working in a busy audiology practice or similar clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients of all ages.
- Detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in patient care.
- Proven track record of providing high-quality audiological care.
