Senior Biomedical Technician - Providence

Job Title: Biomedical Equipment Technician III (BMET III)

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and troubleshoot complex biomedical equipment and systems.
• Perform repairs, calibrations, and performance verifications independently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on equipment usage.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Certification from a recognized biomedical equipment organization preferred.
