Job DescriptionJoin a dynamic Colorado team of Civil Engineers in need of a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to relocate to Fort Collins, CO. This role will be multi focused in land development, municipal projects and permitting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of projects while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage oil and gas permitting, land development, and municipal projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including surveyors, environmental specialists, and other engineers.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Permitting and Compliance:
- Prepare and submit oil and gas permits and related documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
- Design and Development:
- Oversee the design of land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Prepare site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts using Civil 3D and other relevant software.
- Municipal Projects:
- Engage with local municipalities to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Develop engineering solutions for municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water supply, and wastewater systems.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Participate in project meetings, provide technical expertise, and contribute to project decision-making.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, and presentations for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for future reference and audits.

- Be familiar with the ins and outs of crafting compelling proposals.
- Have organizational skills are top-notch, and you pride yourself on your attention to detail.
- Thrive in a dynamic, multitasking environment, juggling multiple priorities with ease.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university
- Registered PE license in Colorado or 8 - 10 years experience in municipal land development projects
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, Bluebeam, MS Project, Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro
