Senior Clinical Supervisor I (Licensed) - Tarzana Treatment Center

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supervising counselors and case managers involved in direct patient care. Provides crisis intervention support and addresses patient grievances. Implements the treatment philosophy of Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. (TTC). Reports to the Clinical Director for administrative and clinical matters.

Salary Range

$46 - $68.50 per hour DOE

CATEGORIES OF DUTIES

Clinical Responsibilities shall include:

1. Participation in medical record reviews

2. Utilization review activities, as required

3. Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements (i.e., suspected abuse; Tarasoff), professional boundaries and related issues.

4. Other duties as assigned by Director/Administration

Supervision/Training shall include:

1. Providing supervision to counseling staff as deemed appropriate, including interns.

2. Conducting performance evaluations of interns or staff, as required.

3. In-service training to staff and/or trainees on mental health topics, as required.

Administrative duties shall include:

1. Attending clinical and administrative committee meetings, as requested.

2. Maintaining proper documentation, as necessary, of clinical supervision

3. Participating in community events, presentations, meetings, and outreach on behalf of TTC

4. Reviewing paperwork of direct reports

5. Additional functions as specifically requested by the Clinical Director, Program Director and/or

Administration

Addendum as Senior Supervisor:

1. Oversees all mental health (MH) and substance use disorders (SUD) services at a TTC location.

2. Oversees and conducts audits of MH and SUD charts.

3. Monitors authorizations for treatment in SUD programs.

4. Participates in meetings to address billing denials and oversees corrections.

5. Responsible for monitoring eligibility, charge posting, and data quality required for accurate claim submission.

6. Recommends staff hiring, supervises, and evaluates the performance of program, operations, and

clinical supervisors.

7. Oversees DHCS Drug Medi-Cal, DMH Medi-Cal and Joint Commission program certifications, and

contract compliance for supervised programs.

8. Is responsible to carry out business goals, and prepares reports on staff productivity and revenue

generation for programs supervised.

9. Oversees Woodland Hills Recovery Bridge Housing (RBH) sites.

EDUCATION

A Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology or social science. Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science as an LCSW or MFT.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of one (1) year experience in evaluating and/or treating persons suffering from substance

abuse and/or dual diagnosis. Prior supervisory experience.
