Summary:
Senior Compensation Consultant provides subject matter expert consultation on Compensation trends and advanced analytics to support the Total Rewards team. This position works with the Compensation leader to accomplish strategic business needs, monitors Total Rewards trends and best practices and enhance overall effectiveness of the function.
Responsibilities:
Develops and works with HR Business Partners and HR Directors to drive compensation solutions that support major business change initiatives.Maintain data integrity and creates and uploads data into assigned Compensation Tool.Develops and maintains job descriptions ensuring appropriate alignment with the organization's goals, structure, and federal and state laws.Serves as a role model for compensation consultant and compensation specialist to coach and effectively assist with compensation related activities and projects.Participates in special projects that occur to address specific business needs.Develops and maintains project plans including written specifications of tasks, expected timelines, and deliverables consistent with overall deadlines.Completes cost analysis of compensation interventions to support the Compensation team and prepares presentations to key stakeholders. Collaborates with Compensation leadership to draft justification for recommendations.Provides effective data analysis to support Compensation leader towards the overall goal of attraction and retention of employees. Analyzes compensation competitiveness to identify key insights and trends, perform root cause analysis to evaluate opportunities for improvement.

Bachelors: Human Resources (Required)

Complexity of Work: Ability to work effectively and efficiently to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision and short timelines. Ability to collect and extract data, conduct analyses, apply principles, prepare reports including illustrative data displays and make recommendations and, or draw conclusions. Required Work Experience: Five (5) years of related compensation analytics experience required as an analyst within human resources, financial, business, and/ or data analytics. Two (2) years supervisory experience required to serve in the lead capacity. Substantial knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other applications including HRIS systems is also required. Other Information: Work experience within the healthcare industry strongly preferred.Additional Education Info: Degree in business administration, accounting, human resources management or related field of study.
