We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your accounting expertise and leadership skills in a challenging and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will be expected to:
1. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
2. Manage the general ledger and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
3. Ensure proper reconciliation and compliance of payroll.
4. Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates on the financial performance.
5. Prepare daily cash flow reports to assist in projections and the company's liquidity.
6. Coordinate monthly reporting activities, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
7. Apply your construction industry experience to ensure all accounting activities align with industry-specific regulations and best practices.
8. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing high-quality financial information and advice.
9. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent qualification is strongly preferred.
2. A minimum of two years' experience in an accounting role, with a strong emphasis on the skills listed above.
3. A deep understanding of industry-specific accounting practices.
4. Exceptional knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide effective strategic recommendations.
7. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage a team and drive performance.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
10. The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
