What is your role
You will play a key role in our risk management group by helping to administer the full lifecycle of our client agreements. You can sit in the Westfield, MA Headquarters, Middletown or Shelton, CT offices in a hybrid work environment.
What you will be doing?
As a Senior Contracts Specialist, you will assist the technical teams to review and develop client agreements to identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, ensure compliance with internal and external requirements including insurance, and develop supplemental terms to protect the firm. As the Senior Contracts Specialist, you will be expected to continuously learn about contract regulations, understand best practices for the application of risk management techniques, and apply the newest conflict resolution trends.
What will you need as a Senior Contracts Specialist?
You will need a minimum of 10 years contract review, development, and negotiation experience. A Bachelor’s degree in business, legal, or related field is preferred, however, relevant business and contracts experience will be considered as well. You will need a solid understanding of risk management, assessment, with exceptional attention to detail. If you have experience in the professional engineering or consulting field, and knowledge of EJCDC and AIA contracts, that would be a plus. Experience and exposure to federal, state, and local professional services and procurement regulations is preferred. As a Senior Contracts Specialist, you must be able communicate and negotiate effectively.

Senior Contracts Specialist salaries are determined based on internal equity and market analysis and will vary based on the candidate’s skill and experience; the salary range for this position is $111,000 - $145,000.
