We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Customer Engineer to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and replacement of Point of Sale (POS) systems and other technological equipment at client locations. If you enjoy solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and don't mind extensive travel and hands-on work, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Responsibilities
The base range for this contract position is $40 - $50/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Customer Engineer to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and replacement of Point of Sale (POS) systems and other technological equipment at client locations. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and replace POS systems and other tech equipment at client locations.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and low voltage cabling as needed.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and provide on-site support.
- Travel extensively, often overnight, to service client locations.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying equipment, tools, and materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of related experience in customer service, hardware installation, and technical troubleshooting.
- Basic computer knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel frequently.
- Previous experience working with POS systems.
- Familiarity with hardware installation, troubleshooting, and low voltage cabling.
