Senior DXP Developer - Stand8

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DXP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge of the Optimizely platform and will be responsible for developing solutions that require both analysis and research. This role involves working on small to large complex projects, collaborating with our UI/UX team, mentoring junior staff, and fostering a collaborative environment. You will be expected to analyze, code, test, document, and support web applications while interfacing with outside vendors.

Core Responsibilities

• Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily standups.
• Work independently on user stories and implementation tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to support robust software deployment.
• Investigate and resolve performance issues, technical challenges, and operational problems.
• Draft and update technical documentation to ensure clarity and continuity.
• Manage task-level communications, promptly reporting delays or blockers to ensure project timelines are met.
• Triage defects and develop fixes to maintain software integrity and user satisfaction.
• Provide detailed code walkthroughs to the lead developer or system architect, demonstrating a thorough understanding of requirements.
• Present completed work to key stakeholders and internal audiences, highlighting functionality and aligning with program goals.

Skills & Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of Optimizely CMS.
• Solid understanding and experience with standard DevOps tooling and processes.
• High-level knowledge of Git and standard development workflows.
• Proficient in JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile development principles.
• Proven experience with Optimizely platform customization, with depth in the CMS product.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft .NET development.
• Experience in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to research and implement optimal solutions.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical challenges and solutions to team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to new challenges and environments.
• Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple initiatives.

Education

• BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of IT work experience in software development, installation, and modification in an online environment or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Preferred ITIL Foundation certificate.

Additional Details
The base salary range for this position is $135k - $140k annually, depending on experience.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
