What You Will Do:

• Co-architect Innovative Solutions: Collaborate with your team to design and implement a cutting-edge cloud data analytics platform that meets our evolving business needs.
• Enhance Data Operations: Support and improve our data-ops practices, ensuring our data solutions are efficient and effective.
• Monitor and Maintain Systems: Keep an eye on the health of our data solutions and ensure they deliver high performance and reliability.
• Engage with Stakeholders: Build positive relationships with clients and internal teams, understanding their goals to propose technology solutions that drive success.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work in an agile environment with engineers, product managers, and analysts to create creative solutions that benefit the organization.
• Guide Standards and Governance: Define the best practices for data architecture, platform architecture, and data quality to align with our organizational goals.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • At least 2 years designing and implementing data warehouses in Snowflake.
  • A minimum of 8 years in data modeling, architecture, and engineering.
  • Proficiency in data transformation using DBT and familiarity with data quality products such as Monte Carlo or BigEye.
  • Skilled in Azure DevOps and experienced with software development methodologies (SDLC, Agile, SCRUM).
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of data warehouse design patterns (star schema, data vault) and building high-performance data pipelines.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python with an understanding of RESTful APIs and current data engineering trends.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and listening skills to facilitate technology evaluations and achieve consensus among diverse teams.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities while driving continuous improvement.

• Experience in delivering end-to-end data analytics platforms using modern data stack components.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies.
• Certifications such as SnowPro Advanced or DBT Analytical Engineer.
