The Alexander Technology Group is searching for a Senior Data Scientist to join an outstanding company in the financial technology space. Sr. Data Scientist 
Our client is searching for a candidate that can work with Tech and Product teams to translate business requirements to predictive models and analytics tools the implement them to the technical solutions. The right candidate would work with the product team to design and implement the models. 

The Role: 

• Use data science tools and techniques to analyzing large datasets and develop custom models/algorithms to find insights, trends, and patterns in data.
• Developing and maintaining a set of decision-support tools.
• Keep technical and quantitative foundations for the data tools and create model/process.
• Communicate with product and solutions group, and development resources.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in a Data Science role. 
• Excellent background in mathematical, quantitative, statistical, and data analysis skills
• 4+ years of Python and SQL building models, and supporting back-end production code
• 3+ years of experience in advanced data mining, model development, and other related skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, or other quantitative field
