The Senior Demand Analyst serves as a highly analytic customer and
category expert, utilizing multiple sources of data to develop a rolling
24-month unit and revenue demand plan for assigned customers. Key
strengths include understanding product portfolio and customer/consumer
behavior to create and maintain statistical forecast models while
incorporating business intelligence from Sales and Marketing partners.
The aligned demand plan will provide desired accuracy levels to drive
optimal inventory and service rates in support of business plans and
objectives. The process of forecast development is collaborative,
requiring strong leadership and partnership. Primary Duties &
Responsibilities Build and maintain an item level unit and dollarized
demand plan over a rolling 24-month horizon using customer inputs and
statistical models. Lead data cleaning, analysis, and preparation
activities: utilize working knowledge in conducting exploratory data
analysis to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and insights from
complex datasets (including retailer and category level data). Champion
digital marketing and engagement strategies to ensure effective capital
deployment and accountability with key focus on, but not limited to,
pricing and promotion levers to influence success on service level and
financial business objectives. Monitor shipment and POS demand data to
determine patterns, trends, variability to include but not limited to
deviations in demand due to weather, competitive situations and
