Sr. Director of Business Development
Location: Houston, TX or Dallas, TX or Midland, TX
Our client is seeking a Senior Director Business of Development to join their team in providing environmentally sustainable solutions for beneficial reuse of produced water generated from upstream oil and gas industry. Reporting to the CEO, this position will be responsible for new business development and implementation of company’s sales strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities for beneficial reuse of produced water in Permian Basin
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the company’s presence in Permian Basin
- Identify target accounts, develop key account strategies, and identify new opportunities
- Manage and participate in proposal development, risk assessment and presentation to customers
- Lead negotiations with customers in structuring commercial agreements and project financing
- Develop plans and strategies to achieve maximum profitability in line with Company’s goals
- Maintains opportunity list and reports sales activities on a regular basis to management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum B.S. degree in Civil Environmental, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering
- 10+ Years of progressive business development experience in Produced Water Treatment
- Permian basin experience and relationships within the upstream space strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of technologies for treatment of produced water for beneficial reuse
- Expertise in commercial negotiations, structuring long term service contracts for water treatment and project financing
- Solid understanding of consultative and strategic selling
