About the Job
The Senior Director, Global People Business Partner Leader is responsible for leading and executing the critical talent initiatives for the Global Revenue organization in collaboration with the Chief Revenue Officer, leadership team, and key stakeholders. They are also responsible for delivering high-value global people programs and guiding global regional HR outcomes within the US, Spain, India & LatAm. The Senior Director, Global People Business Partner Leader will lead a team of People Business Partners (PBPs) and Regional People Partners (RPPs) in direct support of the aligned business units and regions. They will provide strategic counsel and consultative partnership to leaders and stakeholders on organizational level challenges with a focus on strategies, tools, and processes/frameworks that enable business results with consideration to our culture. This role will directly impact TKWW's ability to assess, motivate, develop, and retain top talent that is foundational to our long-term vision. As a key member of the People Team, they will have a "One Team Mindset" and ensure the work guided in this role is aligned to the broader vision of the company, People Team priorities, and our culture. They will be known as a culture add to TKWW.
They will be continuously assessing, planning and prioritizing the changes that need to be made to bring the highest value impact to this dynamic organization. They will be involved in the entire employee life cycle for the Global Revenue organization which will present a wide range of responsibility and opportunity to make a positive impact.
Reporting to the VP, Global People, they will partner closely with a variety of stakeholders to understand and impact broader strategic objectives and determine relevant talent strategies that drive company and employee performance, promote our culture, and make TKWW a great place to work.
It is preferred that this candidate be located near (or willing to relocate to) the Washington DC, New York City, or Austin TX areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a trusted and strategic business partner and thought leader to our Chief Revenue Officer and Sales leadership teams while also serving as a consultant and coach
- Proactively assess and identify opportunities via critical talent and organizational insights to develop business solutions and deliver measurable results
- Develop an annual talent strategy (i.e. talent agenda) in alignment with business and People team priorities to drive key business results
- Lead and develop your PBP & RPP team into a highly effective and engaged team by setting clear performance objectives and goals, providing regular and honest feedback, and by investing in them at the intersection of performance, career and their passions; Effectively align the team's work and prioritize to maximize results.
- Leverage your team's strengths and create team practices that drive collaboration in order to maximize engagement, a sense of belonging, and performance impacting the business unit, regions and People Team
- Play a critical role in consulting senior leadership via high collaboration on organizational effectiveness solutions such as organizational design, workforce planning and job architecture, change management, and more to enable the delivery of strategic business goals, optimize efficiencies and effectiveness, and be a champion of change
- Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's strategic goals, product and service offerings, revenue models, and key initiatives to increase the impact of solutions you design and deliver
- Build organizational alignment and leadership capability through development and facilitation of appropriate leader-focused interventions with teams (i.e. team effectiveness, organizational design, employee engagement, and resourcing plans)
- Work collaboratively with business leaders and legal partners to develop and execute resolution strategies on all employee relations matters, including adherence to policy, grievances, voluntary, and involuntary terminations
- Integrate and partner with key People Team and business adjacent stakeholders including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Development, Total Rewards, DEI, Legal, Payroll and Finance teams to implement solutions and help scale the business
SUCCESSFUL SENIOR DIRECTOR, GLOBAL PEOPLE BUSINESS PARTNER LEADER (REVENUE) CANDIDATES HAVE:
- A Bachelor's degree (ideally in Human Resource Management or a related Business field)
- 10+ years of Human Resources experience including 8+ years of relevant People Business Partner experience and 4+ years of people management experience
- Experience supporting Sales/Revenue organizations and senior leaders within a Revenue organization
- Experience working for a global company, supporting global stakeholders, and managing direct reports (both PBPs and RPPs) that are globally based
- Experience supporting global leadership and employees with high preference to strong knowledge of supporting business initiatives in the country of Spain; other countries such as India and the region of LatAm are beneficial.
- Experience working for a Non-US headquartered company and/or working at a Non-US office location (highly preferred)
- Must be able to work flexible hours in support of the global teams (Europe and India working hours); This role will require some travel including international (5-10%)
- Experience working for high-growth technology companies (preferred)
- Proven expertise in developing trusted partnerships and influencing key business decisions with C-level and senior leadership through communication and collaboration
- Previous experience in defining and delivering holistic talent strategies with clear examples of influencing and collaborating with key stakeholders to execute
- The ability to use data and insights to problem solve and measure impact
- Ownership mindset shown by proactive willingness to identify a problem, find a solution, and see it through to implementation from start to finish with full ownership of the process
- Experience in guiding organizational decisions and actions including organizational design, talent and workforce planning, and aligning rewards, process and tools for optimal business performance and ensuring a holistic thinking across the talent lifecycle
- Experience enacting change management activities, employing sales acumen including sales frameworks, plans/incentives and deploying initiatives that enable cultural integrations including global and inclusion efforts
- Experience leading within high complexity, ambiguous, and ever-changing environment experience in both larger and smaller organizations with the ability to bring a scaling and flexible mindset
- Demonstrated ability to manage human resources at both the strategic and tactical levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate autonomously and effectively including making sound leadership decisions and judgements
- A strong understanding of general HR concepts, practices, and compliance
